HOW WE CONDUCT OUR PERSONNEL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
We work with placement authorities to establish
unique individual support plans for young people
that incorporate sporting, educational, and
recreational activities. We divert young people’s
harmful behaviours towards positive activities, selfdevelopment,
and fulfilment.
As part of our ethics, we encourage/ensure that
young people participate in some meaningful
activities. This allows individuals the opportunity to
learn about themselves and be open to new
opportunities in promoting their physical health
and social integration.
We work with young people to develop appropriate
self-awareness and independent skills and
become more self-regulatory with their emotions
and behaviours. This is one of our key objectives,
regardless of any young person’s previous
experiences; we respect the individual in achieving
their independent life skills.
We use principles of care that support healthy
relationships, including reflection on ourselves,
consequential thinking, and trauma-focused
interventions.
